Travel to UAE
Set your UAE cell phone to the GSM 900 or GSM 900/1800
frequencies
Be sure that battery is charged
Insert the UAE SIM chip into the cellular phone
Enter the PIN code (if required) ^
Turn on your phone
Start calling
^ Your UAE SIM card does not require a 4-digit PIN code. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
To activate SMS facility,to enter the SMS Message Centre No: +971506060000 in the message menu of their mobile handset.

Checking your Wasel balance when you are outside UAE
If you are abroad and wanted to check your credit, dont worry. You can:

Or dial +971400121* from any standard phone and listen to your available credit.

Adding Talk Time in your SIM: |
$18.00 USD in starter airtime credit is included with yourUAE SIM card purchase.
You can recharge your Wasel GSM Prepaid Service via public cash payment machines by paying a minimum amount of US$ 14.00 or its multiple amounts only.
By using Etisalat Prepaid Calling Card.
Users simply dial 120 followed by the 14 digit Prepaid Calling Card Number and then press the SEND key. The WASEL account is immediately credited and the new balance will be announced.
Customers can also recharge/renew their WASEL GSM Prepaid Service with their credit cards, via the e-mail to info@bukharitech.com
Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers in UAE. These airtime vouchers are available in 3 denominations $6, $11, $8.50, $11.
Once you have purchased an airtime voucher, simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your reload code. Follow the instructions on the SIM card to add your airtime to your account.
Airtime vouchers are available in UAE at convenience stores, newspaper stands and mobile phone shops.
Topping up Wasel when you are outside the UAE
If you are abroad and run out of credit, dont worry. You can:
