Activating SIM Card: |
Your QATAR mobile phone number is displayed on the front of your SIM card packaging, along with the PUK and PIN numbers.
 Travel to Qatar
Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
Insert the Qatar SIM chip into the cellular phone*
Turn on your phone
Call 121 Follow the instructions - that's it!
To select your preferred language, from the automated greeting message, press 1 for Arabic, 2 for English and 3 for Urdu.
then press 1 to confirm.

Adding Talk Time in your SIM: |
Upon purchase, your Hala Prepaid SIM Card comes preloaded with QR 100 (US$ 28) worth of airtime.
When you top up with "Hala" recharge cards, your account will be recharged with both validity and credit dependent on the recharge card value you used. When you recharge, a comparison is made between your existing validity period and the recharge card validity period and you will receive the higher period.
When the validity period ends, you will enter a grace period where you will be able to only receive calls and SMS. You are advised to recharge before the end of the grace period or else your account will be terminated, you will lose your remaining credit balance and may lose your mobile number permanently.

Service life: |
| The SIM card's expiration date is typically one year from the date of release. Once activated, the airtime credit is valid for 120 days from the date of activation after which all calls will be barred unless reloaded with new credits. Any unused credit from the previous period will be carried forward. |
