Activating SIM Card: |
Your Mauritius mobile phone number is displayed on the front of your SIM card packaging and a PIN/PUK code.
• Travel to MAURITIUS
• Set your MAURITIUS cell phone to the GSM 900 or GSM 900/1800 frequencies
• Be sure that battery is charged
• Insert the MAURITIUS SIM chip into the cellular phone*
• Turn on your phone
• Enter the PIN code (if required) ^
• Start calling
^ Your" MAURITIUS" SIM card may require a PIN code which shows on your SIM card pack. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

Adding Talk Time in your SIM: |
$4.15 USD is starter airtime credit is included with your MAURITIUS SIM card purchase.
The Scratch Card is your key to the communication services of Cellplus on a fee/value of airtime ratio for both voice and non-voice services. 3 denominations of Scratch Cards are available: US$ 1.68 or Rs 50 (50 days valid), $3.35 Rs 100 (100 days valid), and $10.00 or Rs 300 (150 days valid), inclusive of VAT.
How to recharge your Account:
- Scratch the security panel on your Scratch Card to expose the 14 digits secret code. There are 2 means of recharging your account
- Dial 124, then press OK
- Press 1
- Enter the 14 digits secret code. The voice prompt will indicate your new credit level.
- You can now use your mobile phone through the unique Cellplus network.

- Press OK
You can now use your Cellplus Prepaid Service.
The Cellplus Prepaid Scratch Card is available in more than 3500 points of sales across Mauritius.
