Travel to Bangladesh
Set your Bangladesh cell phone to the GSM 900 or GSM 900/1800 frequencies
Be sure that battery is charged
Insert the Bangladesh SIM chip into the cellular phone*
Enter the PIN code (if required) ^
Turn on your phone
Start calling**
^ Your Bangladesh SIM card does not require a 4-digit PIN code. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
To activate your banglalink's voice mail:
You have to forward/divert your call to 770.
Your Voice Messaging System is activated.
Message Retrieval Dial 777, after hearing the tone press the password (9999) followed by #.
Select option "1" to retrieve the voice mail message.
Voice mail service can store up to 20 messages each up to 120 seconds long.
Messages that you have listened to but not saved or deleted will be kept in the system for 5 days and after that it will be deleted.
Messages not listened to will be kept for up to 14 days and after that it will be deleted.
Greeting Option:
Dial 777, after hearing the tone press password followed by "#".
Listen to the main menu and go to personal option menu by pressing "2". Press "2" again to go to greeting option menu.
In greeting menu option you have the following options:
Press "1" to choose the standard greeting
Press "2" for personal greeting option
Press "3" for absence greeting option
Press "0" for help of any kind
Record Your Personal Voice as Greeting
If you go for personal greeting, you will have following options:
Press "1" to record your greeting
Press "2" to review your greeting
Press "3" to delete your greeting
Press "O" for help of any kind
Begin record your personal greeting after the tone,
Press [#] To accept your greeting
Press [1] To re-record your greeting
Press [2] To review your recorded greeting
Press [*] To cancel the recorded greeting and return to the preview menu
Changing Password:
Dial 777, after hearing the tone press password (9999) followed by #.
Listen to the main menu and select personal option by pressing "2" , then press "1" to go to password option.
In password menu you will have the following options:
Press "1" to change your password
Press "2" to enable or disable password protection
Please enter your new password after the tone, press "#" when finished.
Press "#" to accept your password
Press "1" to enter a new password
Press "*" to cancel your new password and return to the previous menu. |

Once you have purchased an airtime voucher, simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your reload code. Follow the instructions on the SIM card to add your airtime to your account.

1. Gently scratch the covered area to reveal the hidden number.
2. Type *123* then your 14 digit hidden number followed by # and simply SEND.
